Wójcik Racing Team confirms all-Polish FIM EWC lineup

Wójcik Racing Team is set for a revolution in the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship. The team owned by Grzegorz Wójcik and Sławomir Kubzdyl is not only changing its motorcycle supplier but also significantly modifying its two lineups. In the Formula EWC class, Team 77 will include an all-Polish crew of riders.

The new Honda with number 77 will be ridden by multiple Polish Champions, Kamil Krzemień, Artur Wielebski, and Jurand Kuśmierczyk.

Krzemień and Wielebski have been representing WRT for years, and the former even stood on the Superstock podium with the team during the eight-hour race at Oschersleben in Germany.

The 19-year-old Kuśmierczyk, a two-time, current Polish Superstock 600 Champion, joined the Wójcik Racing Team in September as a reserve rider for the 777 team in the Superstock class during the 24 hours of Bol d’Or.

He made such a big impression at the Circuit Paul Ricard that he will be promoted to a full-time Formula EWC seat the World Championship next season.

In the coming days, the Wójcik Racing Team will also confirm the lineup of Team 777, which will participate in the FIM EWC’s Superstock World Cup.

The 2024 FIM EWC season will start in April with a 24-hour race in Le Mans and conclude in September with the 24h Bol d’Or.

“The 2024 season will be a completely new challenge for us,” says Grzegorz Wójcik“We are not only changing our motorcycle supplier but also the lineup of both crews. We decided to return to the idea of an all-Polish lineup for one of the bikes. We’ve already successfully did it in the past, giving a huge opportunity to many young Polish talents. In the upcoming season we will do it again, but we are raising the bar even higher, as team 77 will race in the most demanding Formula EWC category. Kamil, Artur, and Jurand are the perfect combination of youth, talent, and experience, which can really shake up the field.”

“We are very excited about the changes awaiting Team 77 and we are convinced that the entirely Polish lineup will bring a lot of joy to the Polish fans,” adds Sławomir Kubzdyl“Kamil, Artur, and Jurand are young but already very experienced riders, who not only have many Polish Championship titles to their names but also numerous international successes. Kamil has already stood on the FIM EWC podium with us. A few years ago Artur did the impossible, finishing the 24-hour race in Le Mans in a team consisting of only two riders. Jurand not only showed incredible pace in the Polish Superstock 600 and Superbike Championships this season but also spectacularly debuted in FIM EWC during Bol d’Or. The entire trio will compete in the most demanding Formula EWC class, against mostly the factory teams, and on a completely new bike. It’s a huge challenge, but we can’t wait to get started. However, the changes toTeam 77 do not mean that we are giving up the fight in the Superstock class. In the coming days we will present an incredibly strong, international lineup for Team 777.”
